Tina uses hand tools and power carving tools to carve spoons. From start to finish it's a 50-60 day process. In the first 30 days the wood is carved, the grain is raised and burnished and then multiple finishes applied. Day 31-60 the spoon is in the curing process on a drying rack. It is meticulously finished in a multi step process to ensure the best smooth and durable finish.
Our Wood Butter is the perfect blend of pure mineral oil and beeswax to use when the spoon looks thirsty
