The 60 - Day Journey of a spoon:
* Days 1-30: I begin by shaping and carving the wood, then grain raising, burnishing, and multiple finish applications. This ensures a tough, smooth finish.
* Days 31-60: This is the curing process, where the spoons are placed on a drying rack in a climate- controlled room. This ensures maximum strength and durability.
Care: Hand wash and dry. Maintain the wood with mineral oil and beeswax. Our Wood Butter is the perfect blend, and can be used on any wooden item for whenever the wood looks thirsty.
