September Storm Candle

the smell of rain landing on warm ground, cut with cool eucalyptus and settled into a soft musk. this is the fifteen minutes before the sky actually opens, green and damp and a little electric, back when the air still feels like summer but the light has already turned. hand-poured in small batches in york, pa with coconut apricot wax and a crackling wooden wick.
